Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell, born on March 27, 1970 in New York City. She was a height of 5'9" she is an American actress most famous for her role as the role of Dr. Juliet Burke (on ABC TV's Lost) as well as FBI Agent Erica Evans ("V") in the ABC show Lost. Gia, and The Escape Clause. Mitchell is currently a co-star on Eric Kripke's show Revolution currently airing on NBC. Mitchell's stepfather Joseph Day Mitchell and mother Josephine Marian Mitchell (nee Jenkins) are attorneys based in Dallas. Mitchell along with her mother relocated in Dallas Texas in 1970 where her mother married Joseph Mitchell in 1975. Mitchell completed her studies at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts an all-public magnet school. Mitchell is the eldest of three sisters: Katherine Day Kate Mitchell, Kristina Helen Kristie Mitchell, and Kristina Mitchell. Kristie Mitchell. Mitchell completed her bachelor of fine arts in acting at Stephens College in 1991. She also studied at British American Drama Academy. Mitchell was a part of the Dallas Theater Center for six years. She is currently known for her part as Emily Prentiss, Special Agent in CBS' crime show Criminal Minds. It was reported in June 2010 that Emily Prentiss's character would be reduced in Season 6 of Criminal Minds. Brewster has left the show March of 2011, however, she may come back at the time of her return.
