Jennifer Tilly, born on September 16, 1958 at Los Angeles under extremely poor circumstances. Her father worked as a salesman and her mother was a school teacher. Jennifer being the 2nd daughter of four attended theater performances by her mother, and was impressed. Jennifer's parents divorced after she turned five. Jennifer was a part of her early years in British Columbia after her mom relocated there with her four siblings. Jennifer did not consider herself a studious person although she did have an artistic talent when she was a child. In Canada Jennifer was the victim of bullying a lot. She began to lose interest in theater throughout the time she was in high school. Her mother encouraged her to take on different roles in plays. Every child was inspired by their mother to pursue a love of art. She then immediately started acting.
