Ava DuVernay and Autumn Riley

Ava DuVernay born August 24, 72 in Long Beach, California. DuVernay was able to explore her artistic and creative side as a child due to her aunt Denise. She was night nurses to afford her aunt to have the time she needed throughout her day time to enjoy the pleasures of art, literature, and theater. DuVernay was first introduced to the film West Side Story by her aunt. DuVernay learnt by doing that art is a great tool for social activism. DuVernay was also taught by her mother, who was a social sassy and encouraged DuVernay to show her creativity through art. DuVernay spent her summers in Lowndes County Alabama, where the father of DuVernay was born and brought up. DuVernay's dad recalled the protests for civil rights that took place over the Edmund Pettus Bridge and the close-by town Selma in Alabama. The summers DuVernay spent there would later inspire her to make a film about The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the Civil Rights Movement. DuVernay earned her Saint Joseph High School diploma in Lakewood California. DuVernay went to the University of California Los Angeles after graduating, where she was awarded diplomas in English as well as African American Studies. DuVernay began producing in broadcast journalism when she was still at university. She began as an intern with CBS News during the O.J. Simpson trial. DuVernay was told to take a look at the junk of the home of a juror. When she was dissatisfied with journalistic work by the assignments she was assigned, DuVernay decided to pursue an interest in public relations. DuVernay was hired right from college to be an assistant publicist in a small studio. The company she founded for her own PR, The DuVernay Agency was established in 1999. Her agency launched numerous promotions and lifestyle channels, including Urban Beauty Collective and Urban Eye. Autumn Riley.............................Autumn Riley was born in Los Angeles United States. Autumn Riley was born under the name of. Her fame is due to her role as Anna Payne in American Experience, (1987) A More Perfect Union and A More Perfect Union (2009). Autumn played Rose in A More Perfect Union as well as Anna Payne from American Experience.
